Service Description
I'm James. I work with people who are carrying weight they can't quite put into words — loss, disconnection, a sense of being stuck. My role is to sit with you in that, and help you find your way through. I am a registered psychodynamic therapist with the UKCP, currently completing my MSc in Humanistic Psychotherapy at Regent's University London. I have been working with clients for over three years across community mental health and private settings. My approach is relational and exploratory. I believe that many of the difficulties we face in the present have roots in earlier experiences and relationships. By gently exploring those roots together, we can begin to understand why certain patterns keep repeating — and how to change them. I have a particular interest in working with grief and loss, depression, identity and self-worth, and the experience of people from marginalised communities, including LGBTQ+ clients and those navigating questions of race, culture, and belonging. I offer sessions in English. A free 20-minute consultation is available to help us
